TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF TRADE

Our Terms and Conditions are set out below. They govern our business relationship with a Customer and should be read carefully.

Quality of Product: Perth Fencing offer a 1 year workmanship guarantee on all of our service, this is limited to the
quality of workmanship only and not any defects in the material. Perth Fencing will not be held responsible for any
damage caused after installation by the customer or anybody else, or any damage that has occurred after the customer
has agreed that they are satisfied with the completed job. It is the Customer’s responsibility to read the Quote and agree
to the Scope of Work detailed. Colorbond materials have a 10 year warranty which is offered by Colorbond themselves.
It is the Customer’s responsibility to inspect the final Installed Product and advise of any concerns if the product does not
meet their satisfaction. Any concerns need to be expressed to the installer on the same day as installation. If the
Customer has expressed to Perth Fencing or our Installer in a Verbal or Written manner that they are satisfied with the
final installation, no further works will take place unless agreed to by Perth Fencing. This will come at an additional cost to
cover parts and labour costs. Please make prior arrangements if you require someone to be home on the day of
installation.
The Customer will be liable for the additional costs of any extra works carried out by us that aren’t detailed in the Scope of
Work. This includes junk or waste, tree roots or any other items underground that weren’t visible on the day of quoting,
Changes to the Ground Level after the date of installation that required additional work, Damage caused by other
contractors after the date of installation or any further damage caused by neglect or damage by anyone else other than
Perth Fencing.
It is the Customer’s responsibility to explain exactly what product they would like before Deposit is paid. If the Customer
changes their mind, then additional charges will be applied to purchase and install extra materials.
If the Customer or Neighbour changes their mind and want a different product from what is detailed in their original Quote,
or different from what has been discussed at the time of the Measure and Quote then we may cease works if no
agreement can be reached.
Perth Fencing may also cease works if neighbours or the Customer cannot agree on what product/style/colour they would
like.

Payment: Payment will be in the form of Bank Transfer, Cash or Cheque unless otherwise agreed in writing. The
Customer will confirm in writing and pay Perth Fencing the Deposit within 24 hours of accepting the Quote. The Customer
and Neighbour are Liable for the cost of any additional material required to carry out the works.
A 50% deposit is required to book in any Fence or Gate job (25% from both the Customer and Neighour). Upon
completion, the remaining 50% balance is due (25% from both the Customer and Neighbour). This balance is subject to
change for any of the above reasons.
The Customer is liable for the cost of any additional services that Perth Fencing carry out which are not included in the
Quote. This will be added to the final invoice. Once the Customer and Neighbour are satisfied with the standard of work
and are happy with final installation, The Customer will organise payment for the remaining balance. The final balance is
strictly due and payable upon completion.
Once an Invoice is overdue by more than 7 business days, Storm Fencing will issue a reminder and a new Invoice will be
sent to the Customer with an Administration Fee of $25.
It is the responsibility of the Customer to have the deposit and remaining balance paid in full, and to notify all other
involved neighbours. By accepting your Quote, you agree to these Terms and Conditions of Trade.
